Dear Shamrox Fan,

the Games Begin! It is time to “Take This Inside”.
The Chicago Shamrox first-ever Home Game is Saturday
January 6th at 7:30pm at the Sears Centre arena
against New York. The waiting is over, it is time to
get going and start the Inaugural Season for indoor
pro lacrosse in Chicago!
We hope you have your tickets to be a part of
Chicago sports history. It will be a statement day
for Lacrosse. We look to make a loud and proud
statement. It will be Lacrosse America
Appreciation Night to give recognition to lacrosse
players and coaches in Chicago, past and present. We
have special pre-game ceremonies and player
introductions. The game will be Telecast nationally
on the Versus network; an opportunity to show the
country indoor lacrosse and the Shamrox making an
impact in the Chicago market.

Lax Pax are books of 10 Shamrox ticket vouchers that
can be redeemed at any time, in any combination,
allowing you the ultimate flexibility in how and
when you attend games. You can use them however you
want (five tickets for two games, two tickets for
five games.) The choice is yours! You receive a
discount off the price of individual game tickets.
Lax Pax are just $200 and are redeemable for seats
in the Lower Level (End, Sec. 108-111) and Upper
Level (Sideline, Sec. 201-205, 214-218). Want better

Groups Should Start Planning Now |

Those groups and organizations interested in booking
group outings to Shamrox games should contact the
Shamrox ticket office to start coordinating. Group
ticket discounts start for groups with a minimum of
10. There are also bigger discounts for larger
groups and there are fund-raiser ticket programs for
those groups looking to raise money for their teams
or organizations. The Shamrox season starts in
January and runs through mid-April, 8 home games all
on the weekends, five Saturday nights, three Sunday
afternoons, perfect for group outings. Easiest way

| Shamrox Finish
Pre-Season 1-0-1 |
The Shamrox have finished up preseason scrimmages
1-0-1 after tying the Rochester Knighthawks and
defeating the Buffalo Bandits.
On December 17, the Shamrox opened preseason
scrimmage play at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Six
Nations, Ontario, Canada against the Rochester
Knighthawks. The Shamrox defense was stifling and
rookie Cody Jacobs tallied four goals to lead the
Shamrox to an 11-11 tie with the Knighthawks.
One week later, on December 23, the Shamrox returned
to the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena to scrimmage against
the defending Eastern Division Champion, Buffalo
Bandits. The Shamrox number one draft pick, Josh
Wasson-Mcquigge, was the star of the night racking
up four goals in an 11-10 win. The win wraps up a
very good preseason camp and sends the Shamrox into
the regular season on a high note. |

Chicago Shamrox "Countdown To Face Off" Events |
|
CHICAGO, IL – Beginning on Wednesday, December 27
the Chicago Shamrox will be hosting special events
dubbed “Count Down To Face Off” that will feature
Shamrox players, Dance Team members, front office
personnel as well as the famous Giant Shamrox
Jersey. Wednesday also marks the beginning of Web
Chat Wednesdays which will begin at 8:00pm CT, where
fans can chat with Shamrox players, coaching staff,
and front office executives. Shamrox Head Scout
Andrew McKay will be the first chat room guest. To
participate, fans can log onto
www.sportsmates.com
at 8:00pm CT, and click on the “chat” button located
in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Fans
can also visit
www.chicagoshamrox.com and click on
the “fans” button located in the top navigation bar.
“Count Down To Face Off” events will be taking place
at locations across the Chicago land area. Each
event will feature several members of the Shamrox
Dance Team, who will be raffling Shamrox merchandise
and tickets for the Shamrox Home Opener. Outside of
each location, the famous Giant Shamrox Jersey,
which measures 15 feet in height by 10 feet wide,
will be present so fans can sign their name on the
Giant Shamrox Jersey and wish the team luck for
their Inaugural Season.
Merchandise, such as jerseys, t-shirts, and hats,
will be available for purchase onsite as well as
tickets to any Shamrox games in 2006.
The Shamrox start indoor lacrosse play with their
Home Opener on Saturday, January 6 at 7:30 p.m.
against the New York Titans at the Home of the
Shamrox, the Sears Centre arena in Hoffman Estates.
The Shamrox host 8 home games, all on weekend dates.

The 2007 season is now only a
week or so away, and it is now time to get a look at
who will be donning the back and green when the
Shamrox take the field on January 6 against the New
York Titans.
The roster, which features players from the United
States and Canada, contains 23 active roster players
and 3 practice roster players. The roster is
highlighted by notable NLL veterans including
forward Chris Panos, all-star defender Cam Woods,
and goaltender Brandon Miller, and also features
collegiate all-stars Josh Wasson-McQuigge (#1 round
selection, University of Hartford) and Bill McGlone
(University of Maryland, 4th round selection).

One-Hour TV Special Chicago Shamrox "Season Preview" |
 Comcast
SportsNet will be airing a TV special, “The Chicago
Shamrox, a Season Preview Show”, this Friday
December 29th at 9:00PM (Chicago time) following
their coverage of the Chicago Bulls road game at
Toronto.
This One-Hour Shamrox Special will cover an inside
look of the Chicago Shamrox and the upcoming
Inaugural Season. Features include interviews with
Players, Head Coach/GM Jamie Batley, the Dance Team,
a guide through the Sears Centre, promotional plans
for the first-ever season, coverage of the building
of the Shamrox organization, explanation of indoor
lacrosse terms, info and rules in a “Lacrosse 101”
segment, ticket information and much more.
The Shamrox “Season Preview Show” will also be
re-broadcast on Comcast SportsNet in Chicago on
Wednesday Jan. 3rd at 7:00PM following SportNITE and
also on Thursday Jan. 4th at 2:00PM. Check your
local listings or have someone tape the show for an
out of town lacrosse friend.
The Shamrox will have all eight (8) home games
televised in the Chicago market during the 2007
season. Six games will be televised on Comcast
SportsNet, one game on WCPX-38 (Ion Network/Pax-TV)
and the regular season finale on April 14 TBD
(either on Comcast SportsNet or nationally on the
Versus network). |

Official Online Community |
The Chicago Shamrox recently announced that
SportsMates will be the official online community of
the Chicago Shamrox. SportsMates, which was
developed by the same gentlemen who developed Anna
Kournikova’s website, is very similar to the ever so
popular MySpace, but is being dubbed as a MySpace
for sports. Users can logo onto SportsMates website
at
www.sportsmates.com and set up a free profile
that contains information such as your favorite
athletes, favorite teams, childhood legends, etc.
After setting up a free profile, fans can post
messages on message boards, post pictures from
different sporting events, search and add other
friends on the site, send messages back and forth to
other users, post blogs, as well as set up fan clubs
for specific sports, teams, or leagues.
The Chicago Shamrox just launched their own online
community on the SportsMates website where fans can
participate in all of the above features and also
earn points that can be redeemed for free
merchandise and tickets. Users will be given free
points for discussions on the site, completing your
profile, starting new chat topics on the site, as
well as earning substantial points for inviting

Internet |

Show "Rockin' With The Shamrox" Debuts December 26 |
The Chicago Shamrox will be
providing live radio play by play coverage of all
eight (8) of their home games from the Sears Centre
arena this season via a special Podcast broadcast on
www.ChicagoShamrox.com.
Veteran Chicago broadcaster Bill Hazen will provide
the play by play and will feature a guest color
analyst for each game.
The Shamrox Podcasts start with the Home Opener on
Saturday January 6th at 7:30pm when the Shamrox host
their first-ever game at the Sears Centre arena
against the New York Titans.
Also, Shamrox indoor lacrosse fans can follow the
team by listening to a weekly Shamrox radio magazine
show, “Rockin’ With The Shamrox”. This show will be
hosted by Bill Hazen and will feature stories and
news on a weekly basis about the Shamrox. Fans can
