The Chicago Shamrox Indoor Lacrosse Team of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) are offering game day internships for the 2008 season as well as internships for the Spring 2008 semester and the Summer 2008. Internships for the Spring and Summer 2008 are available in the following departments: Ticket Sales and Sponsorships. The Shamrox are also offering internships for high school and college aged students on a game day only basis as well. All internships are non-paid but include multiple benefits (i.e. apparel, tickets, etc.). Please see descriptions below on each position.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:

Game Day Internships: Assist in game day operations such as set up and take down of Chicago Shamrox booths and fan related areas, assisting in the promotional execution of sponsor related events before, during and after home games and other various game day operational activities. (High School & College Students) Available for all games during the 2008 season.

Ticket Department: Internship duties include: Research individuals and company’s that can be sold individual, group and season tickets, selling individual, group and season tickets, help identify different organizations where partnerships can be made to increase the awareness of the Chicago Shamrox team and sell tickets, work with the ticket department and the community/public relations department on the charities of choice program and other duties as assigned. Internship is unpaid, but we do provide college credit and multiple benefits (i.e. apparel, tickets, etc.). Available in Spring 2008 (January – April) and Summer 2008 (May – August).

Sponsorship Department: Internship duties include: Develop different sponsorship packages for potential sponsors that meet their goals and objectives, research different company’s that potentially could sponsor the Chicago Shamrox, brainstorm with the Chicago Shamrox Front Office on different promotional activities that could happen during the season, pitch sponsorships to different company’s and other duties as assigned. Internship is unpaid, but we do provide college credit and multiple benefits (i.e. apparel, tickets, etc.). Available in Spring 2008 (January – April) and Summer 2008 (May – August).
