Bill Hazen will serve as the TV voice for the Chicago Shamrox broadcast on B2 Networks.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL December 19, 2007 – Longtime sports announcer Bill Hazen was announced today as the TV voice for the Chicago Shamrox broadcasts on B2 Networks. Hazen served as the radio voice of the Shamrox during their inaugural season last year.

“We all had so much fun with the Shamrox last year,” said B2 Networks announcer Bill Hazen. “I’ve done thousands of broadcasts involving many sports, but last year was my first shot at lacrosse. I’m looking forward to the upcoming season of Shamrox lacrosse and being on B2 Networks.”

B2 Networks is an industry leader in television style broadcasting on the internet and gives fans the ability to watch live sporting events over the internet with a high-speed Internet connection. All Chicago Shamrox home and away games will be available for fans to watch on B2 Networks for only $7 per game. Fans can purchase each Shamrox broadcast by logging onto www.chicagoshamrox.com and clicking on the B2 Networks logo the day of the game.

Hazen served as the TV voice of the Chicago Bulls and called Michael Jordan’s first professional game as well as his entire rookie season. While in his first season, Jordan was coached by Kevin Loughery Sr., who is part of the Chicago Shamrox ownership group. Hazen was also at the microphone for ESPN International when the Atlanta Braves won the World Series back in 1995.

Tickets are now on sale for the January 5 “Home Opener” as well as all individual games for the entire 2008 season. The Shamrox take the field for their second season in Chicago on January 5 when they play the Toronto Rock at 7pm at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. The 2008 season features 8 home games that are played on weekend dates. During the Inaugural Season in 2007, the Shamrox drew an average attendance of 6,025 and a record of 6-10, with the team missing the playoffs by a tie breaker.
