PHILADELPHIA, PA January 14, 2008 – New additions to the Shamrox are starting to payoff big. Lindsay Plunkett, Kevin Fines and Callum Crawford all had huge nights last Saturday as Chicago lost to Philadelphia 19 - 11 in front of 11,974 at the Wachovia Center.

Plunkett had the best night of any new comer to the Shamrox by scoring two goals, two assists and seven loose balls. However, Crawford was just as good performance wise as Plunkett with two goals, two assists and three loose balls. Fellow forward Kevin Fines, who had two goals in the Shamrox opener on 1/5, managed to score one goal, one assist and scoop up three loose balls.

All three forwards were joined by Bill McGlone (2g) and Chris Panos (1g) as productive leaders for the Shamrox. Saturday nights’ game marked the 18 consecutive game that Panos has scored a goal in for the Shamrox.

Part of the loss on Saturday can be blamed on late flights due to weather. Most of Chicago’s team did not get into Philadelphia Friday night until 11:30pm. Those late flights resulted in Chicago canceling practice and only having a run through Saturday afternoon.

Chicago now will have a week off before hosting the Edmonton Rush at home at the Sears Centre Arena on Saturday, January 26 at 7pm. With the lost tonight, Chicago will take the week off to improve their game plan to turn the tide on their 0-2 record.

The 2008 season features 8 home games that are played on weekend dates. During the Inaugural Season in 2007, the Shamrox drew an average attendance of 6,025 and a record of 6-10, with the team missing the playoffs by a tie breaker.
