HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL January 30, 2008 – The Chicago Shamrox indoor lacrosse team announced today their promotional schedule for the remaining six home games of the 2008 season at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. Each game will have a special “theme”.

“Shamrox fans really get into the games, so we’re going to add to the fun and have a special theme for each of the remaining home games”, said Shamrox President Conrad “Connie” Kowal. “Our fans make the building rock and create a great game day atmosphere. Our theme nights should bring out the best in fan creativity and energy.”

The promotional schedule for the remainder of the season is highlighted by Code Green Night on Saturday, March 1, which is the St. Patrick’s celebration game. Fans are encouraged to wear green and fans will be able to see a performance by the Shannon Rover Bagpipers, Irish Dancers, a halftime parade on the field and other green surprises.

Every Chicago Shamrox home game features free game-day programs for all fans, a pre-game performance by the Shannon Rovers Bagpipers and the Chicago Shamrox Dance Team as well as post-game autographs on the field with players, dance team members and the Chicago Shamrox mascot Blarney.

“ShamROX & ROLL Night”
• Dress in styles from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s while rocking out to three great decades of music during the game.
• Prizes will be distributed to the best dressed fans in the crowd.

“Salute to the Oscars”
• The only afternoon game of the year will feature contests for the best movie star look-alikes that dress up, as well as, a contest for fans who predict who will win the Oscars that night in Hollywood.
• Post-game concert by the band “Ready Break”

“Code Green Night”
• Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by wearing green to the game
• Night will feature Irish Dancers, the Shannon Rover Bagpipers and a halftime St Pat’s parade on the field

“Spring Break Night”
• The first 2,000 kids 14 and under will receive a free water park pass to the indoor CoCo Key Water Resort in Arlington Heights (a $39.00 value)
• Post-game concert by the band “The Least of These”
