Joe Stefani
Joe Stefani currently is the Director of Public Relations and Partnerships for the Chicago Shamrox and oversees public relations, community relations and corporate sponsorships for the team.

Stefani comes to the Chicago Shamrox from the Dundee Township Park District where he served as the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator. At Dundee he was responsible for all marketing and communication aspects of the district, including spokesperson, for all programs and facilities including two golf courses, banquet facility, water park and zoo. While at Dundee he oversaw double digit growth in the district’s revenue facilities, increased exposure of the district in newspapers five fold and launched a new corporate sponsorship program that increased sponsorship revenue by 425%.

Stefani has completed four internships, two of which in sports, with the National Hockey League, the Kane County Cougars, KISS FM radio station and the Illinois Governor’s Office.

A 2006 graduate of Western Illinois University, Stefani received his Master of Science degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Administration and his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004 from Monmouth College with a double major in Public Relations and Media Communication as well as a minor in Business Administration. He is a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Stefani will begin his Master of Business Administration degree in the summer of 2008.

Active in the community, Stefani represents the Chicago Shamrox at the Greater Woodfield Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as the Elgin Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, where he serves on the Partnership Committee. He also is President of the Crystal Lake Park Foundation.

Stefani has been a member of the Chicago Shamrox since fall 2006.
